SIGNS: Moonblossom Signworks and Art Company has been creating signs for homes and businesses for over 18 years. My one-of-a-kind signs are handpainted and made of wood, the old fashioned way. They are rich in color and sheen, unique in quality, and made to last. By making signs in this traditional way, I offer an alternative to computer generated, overpriced plastic signs made by run-of-the-mill chain stores.
MURALS: Murals are generally $25-$150 per square foot, with a minimum charge of $250. The price per square foot is determined by the complexity of the artwork and the physical difficulty in executing it. In some cases, scaffolding may be required. If you do not have scaffolding, it will be rented by Moonblossom Signworks at an additional charge.
PERSONALIZED GIFTS: These specialty items, sometimes smaller in size, are created with your personal input. They can be decorative signs, canvases, or other painted items that reflect special meaning. They can be made especially for you or as a customized gift for a friend, family member, or business associate. The imagery can depict a special place, person, pet, or meaningful words. They are priced as individual art pieces.
PORTRAITS: Portraits can be anything from a small pencil drawing to a large in-depth, highly detailed painting. A small, simple portrait starts at $250. More complex or larger portraits can run thousands of dollars. Pricing depends on variables such as size, number of people, pets, additional imagery, and the medium used. Mediums offered are colored pencil, charcoal, or watercolor on paper ; acrylic paint or oil paint on canvas or wood panel.
PRICES: Custom made signs are generally priced by the square foot (multiply the length of the sign by the width of the sign in feet).
Base price list for a single sided sign:
up to 1 sq. foot - $95
1.1 sq. feet to 2 sq. feet - $150
2.1 sq. feet to 3 sq. feet - $175
3.1 sq. feet to 4 sq. feet - $195
4.1 sq. feet to 5 sq. feet - $225
5.1 sq. feet to 6 sq. feet - $275
6.1 sq. feet to 8 sq. feet - $350
PAYMENT: For local orders, 1/2 deposit is required to start your order and the balance is due upon completion. Outside of Rochester, please make payments in
full to Moonblossom Signworks and Art Company at 250 North Goodman St. #212, Rochester, NY 14607 by cash, check, money order, or I can send you a Google Checkout e-mail invoice. Allow 4-8 weeks for delivery. Deposits are nonrefundable.
Additional charges may be added for : more than five words, double sided signs, design services, custom artwork, faux finishes, gold leaf, moulding, custom sign shapes, sign hanging brackets, hardware, installation, rush orders, and shipping fees. Please note: Faux Antique Signs, Portrait Signs, or other specialty items may differ and cost more than the above list.
DESIGN SERVICES: If you are in need of a design, I will create one for you. There is a minimum design charge of $95, plus $75 per each additional hour.
